THIS DAY, I join the hallowed ranks of those Immortals who deign to proffer their wisdom to the world.

Yes, I have decided to write a blog.

Admittedly, the world did not ask me to do this. But this seems to be an oversight on the world’s part, and just as soon it stops watching cat videos and considers my insights, it will thank me profusely.

Yet my decision is not without controversy.

For cynics may claim that I am not motivated purely by altruism; and that under the guise of benefiting mankind, this is really just a vanity project, in which I fritter away hour after worthless hour tapping out self-absorbed musings, in a pathetic attempt to show off and burnish my ego.

But to them I say this:
